Our Values

In the ministry of our church, we want to be...

Christ-Centered
We want Jesus to be at the center of all we do, and the primary reason for doing ministry - so that more people might know Him.

Community-Serving
We want to serve the community of Batesburg-Leesville with our time, resources and abilities.

Church-Loving
We want to love one another as Christ has loved us, and invite others to join us.

Kingdom-Minded
We want to see Jesus' Kingdom come to Batesburg-Leesville by seeing more people find new faith and forgiveness in Him.

Gospel-Driven
We want the Good News of Jesus' life, death and resurrection for sinners to be our confidence for doing ministry.

Bible-Believing
We want the Bible to be our constant guide and final authority. We believe it is inspired by God and therefore without error.

Grace-Filled
We want to be believing and trusting in the grace of God for us in such a way that it enables us to show love and grace to others.

Prayer-Saturated
We want everything we do to be covered in prayer. We believe that God can and will answer our prayers according to His will.

Spirit-Empowered
We want to ask and rely on the Holy Spirit to work in and through us to accomplish His work in our lives, church and ministry.

God-Glorifying
We want everything we do to be done to the glory of the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
